Dry Weather Flight Restrictions

  • No flights in >10 MPH winds.
  • No flights that have the potential to glide.
  • No questionable clusters or staging.
  • No “heads-up” flights.
  • No first flights unless a proven design and/or built per manufacturer instructions.
  • Launches will be cancelled when:
    • The Wildland Fire Rating System Google Earth map polygon for our launch site meets or exceeds a “HIGH” fire danger rating
    • There is a RED FLAG WARNING for the site
    • There is a FIRE BAN in effect for Weld County
